Winter season at the Open Air MuseumThe open air museum does not sleep during the winter season. It is a place to enjoy fresh air and time with your family in the middle of a historic village. Learn more.
Come and explore the museum by horse carriage! Horse and cart rides are available Tuesday to Sunday at 11:00 - 15:45 in winter season.
In winter season contact ticket office ( (+372 654 9101), so the coachman can get the horse ready.

Saint George's Day
On St. George’s Day we open our summer season and welcome our housewives and –men who will take care of the farms that have been closed during the long winter period.
Leaving behind the cold and dark winter time we celebrate Easter with hearty food, merry songs and games.
May 1 or May Day is a holiday celebrating the arrival of Spring. On the farms in the museum you can take part in springtime work and there is a large spring fair on the main road of the museum.
Midsummer, especially Midsummer eve, is the time of magic and mystery. Join us for concerts, folk dances, bonfires and ancient customs.
