The aim of the museum's
collections is to ensure the long-term preservation of cultural heritage and
the knowledge contained in it. The collection of the Open Air Museum includes
more than 77,000 museum exhibits: ethnographic objects, documents, photographs,
drawings, videos, works of art and articles that reflect Estonian rural life
from the 18th century to the present day. The largest museum exhibits in
Estonia, 83 buildings, can be seen in the Estonian Open Air Museum. By prior
arrangement, you can also visit the collections of objects.
