On the birthday of the Republic of Estonia, February 24, we invite you to visit us and offer a special festive menu. Sandwich cake with salted herring, glazed salmon with potatoes and dill butter, layered bread treat with curds and blackcurrant jam.
The
party atmosphere will be created by concerts by the Leigarid children's group
and the Nõmme Heritage School at 12:00 and 1:30 p.m. Information for the entire

The Estonian Open Air Museum and
Kolu Tavern will participate in the first-ever Tallinn KukliFest (Bun Festival)
from 14.02 to 04.03. The
food festival organized by Visit Tallinn highlights Shrovetide traditions and
Tallinn's world-class café culture. Kolu tavern Shrovetide buns
with real whipped cream and lingonberry jam are delicious!
Before whipped cream buns came to be, buckwheat flour pancakes and Shrovetide
plinis were prepared as Shrovetide foods. We invite you to taste buckwheat
flour pancakes with ice cream, prepared according to ancient traditions,
throughout KukliFest.
The Shrovetide menu for March 2-4 also includes:
- pea soup, made with smoked pork and served with plenty of herbs;
- Mulgi porridge;
- pork feet with vegetable stew.

- Winter season (September 29 - April 22) Tues-Sun 10am - 5pm
We are closed on Mondays except booked events.
