The festival "Vyshyvanka Unites"
The festival "Vyshyvanka Unites" invites everyone to a vibrant and truly spectacular celebration of traditions, folk art, and cultural heritage!
For the third year in a row, the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia, in cooperation with the Estonian Open Air Museum, brings together Ukrainian and Estonian families, friends, and communities to honour and preserve the ancient traditions of both nations.
This year is extra special—we’re celebrating World Vyshyvanka Day and the 25th anniversary of the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia. For a quarter of a century, this umbrella organisation has been uniting diverse Ukrainian initiatives. We may be different, but what connects us is our love for culture and language and our desire to preserve our identity.
That’s why "Vyshyvanka Unites" 2025 is set to become a platform for Ukrainian and Estonian organisations that support Ukrainians in Estonia! We warmly invite NGOs, volunteer groups, and charitable organisations to present themselves during the festival. It’s a great chance to find partners, like-minded people, and grow your support network.
Join us on May 18, 12–20, at the Estonian Open Air Museum (Eesti Vabaõhumuuseum) – we’re preparing a full day of exciting activities for adults and children:
– a fair with authentic handmade goods
– masterclasses & a kids’ area
– food courts
– live concert and performances
– photo zones & chill-out spots
– a festive lottery
The headliner of the festival is Estonian singer ALIKA!
