Home is not just a place, but the things we know, people we love and dear memories we carry. Our homes look like us, and every home is unique. The Estonian Open Air Museum invites you explore homes from various regions of Estonia, which display several centuries of people’s daily lives and festive traditions.  

May 1 or May Day is a holiday celebrating the arrival of Spring. On the farms in the museum you can take part in springtime work and there is a large spring fair on the main road of the museum.

Accompanied by live music, a celebration which is different every time is born from the combination of traditional dances, songs, games and instrumental music. 

Midsummer, especially Midsummer eve, is the time of magic and mystery. Join us for concerts, folk dances,  bonfires and ancient customs.
