Estonian Academy of Arts student exhibition
Estonian Academy of Arts student exhibition
May 24 - June 7
This year summer will arrive early! Students have teamed up with Estonian Open Air Museum to create a temporary exhibition titled “Suvistepüha: Kased tuppa, kiike lükka”.
The exhibition is located at Rusi farm from the 24th of May till the 7th of June. Traditionally during the Summer festive, it was customary to bring birch branches inside the house, to colour eggs and build a swing. EKA students aim to temporarily resurrect the faintly forgotten festive with pieces of art that barge into the space of the old folks and create a bridge to the current day. The exhibition touches timeless themes such as love, work and play, and human relationship with nature.
