Tour Guide Training at the Estonian Open Air Museum in English

May 6th - 7th, 2019 at 10 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.

 

May 6th

9.30 a.m. - 10 a.m. Registration at Kuie School

10 a.m. – 10.40 a.m. Introduction (history of the museum, gardening): Anneli Banner, Exposition Curator

10.50 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tour in the museum exposition: Triin Aadli, researcher 

Western Estonia (Sassi-Jaani, Köstriaseme and Nuki farms, Kolu inn)

1 p.m. – 1.30 p.m. Lunch in Kolu Inn

1.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. Tour in the museum exposition: Maret Tamjärv, secretary for research affairs at the Estonian Open Air Museum

Northern Estonia (Pulga, Härjapea and Aarte farms, Sutlepa chapel, Lau shop, Orgmetsa fire station)

 

May 7th

9.45 a.m. - 10 a.m. Gathering at the front gate

10 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. Tour in the museum exposition: Maret Tamjärv, secretary for research affairs at the Estonian Open Air Museum 

Southern Estonia (Sepa, Rusi and Setu farms, Russian house from Peipus, Kalma windmill)

12.30 p.m. – 1 p.m. Lunch at Setu farm

1 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. Tour in the museum exposition: Triin Aadli, researcher

Islands (Kolga, Roosta, Jüri-Jaagu and Jaagu farms, Windmills) and Kuie Schoolhouse

4.30 p.m. – 5 p.m. Delivery of training certificates in Kuie School.

 

Exact time of attestation examinations to be specified by preliminary agreement.
